Bradyn trying to convince us that he needed a ball of his own
Ryan excited to be bowling
Jim retrieving Bradyn from bowling..he thought for sure he was capable
Tyra
Addisyn
Even Phillip, Ryan, Jim, & Jerry bowled...we kept mom out of the game this time as we thought it could be pretty dangerous to the kids in case any balls went backwards instead of forwards. The men also I think enjoyed the "bumper lanes" that were set up for the kids...they came in handy a few times for some strikes and spares.Thursday, February 14, 2008

To much surprise, the kids and I have made a full week and then some without Jim. Better yet, we are all still alive and not stressing too bad. Tyra has had a few blowouts and Jimissy has had a few meltdowns and Bradyn has been learning a few new tricks to get my attention while I am typing and the girls are gone at school.
Here is just a little synopsis of our first week without you dear and what fun you have missed!!
1. Tyra - A on her science test!! Yippeee!!!
2. Jimissy - Lost earing and had a major meltdown and thought her hole was going to close.
3. First trip to new doc office and Bradyn getting shots and I learned that he is not deaf and actually knows more than what I thought he did.....way to go Boo!
4. Tyra to the dentist first time at new one.
5. Bradyn's new antics he is trying for some attention:
- Throw stuff over the baby gate into mom's office to see how much of a pileup can be made.
- When mom says "no" throw self onto the floor and then get up again and find a new spot on the floor to throw self onto.
- Scream as loud as possible and when mom almost breaks a leg getting over the baby gate to see what is wrong - smile really big so she knows that her hearing is good!
- Start to "cry" with both eyes closed and lip puckered as much as you can and while "crying" gently lift one eyelid very slight to see if mom is looking and if not....continue to "cry" and if so, smile.
- As soon as mom gets done changing you before she closes the lid to the wipies, grab the top wipe as fast as you can and run as fast as you can to see how much of the wipies you can spread throughout the house.
- Feed the dog out of your bottle so mom thinks you drank you milk and will give you some Kool-Aid.
- Refuse to say "mom" and say "da da" and then laugh as hard as you can.
And now for the grand-daddy of them all of what has happend since you left:
Teddy the hamster died!! Despite what Jimissy says that Jim and I killed the hamster, NOT true. I think he possibly could have gotten cold or just did not have too many working brain cells and got himself wedged in a tube and died. After a call to Jim telling him that I could not get the cage apart to get the dead carcus out, I told Jim that the next day was trash day and that I would just throw the entire cage away. I thought Jim was going to come unglued!! Needless to say, I called Phillip and bless his heart he told me he would be here on Friday and he would get the hamster out for me and save the cage. Thanks Phillip. I don't feel that bad as Phillip could not get the cage apart either, however, he did manage to pull the hamster out with something so he definitely did better than I. The cage would have been gone and we would have dished away 50 bucks for a dead hamster!!! Thanks Phillip!!!
We miss you!!!!
