Our first Christmas at our new house and we loved having everybody here. The best thing....we did not have to haul presents anywhere except upstairs to the kids rooms and so how nice and convenient was that?! I was in charge of taking pixs and I failed miserably. I got too excited over what the kids were opening and forgot to take pixs after the first few. I am hoping that Nana took some that I can steal from her or Tricia and Ryan! Merry Christmas!

Once again, back at another Christmas with still a few more to go. Here we are at my dad's house. Every year, him and Kaye have something to read and this year all the grandkids got to walk into the room with some type or Christmas tree ornament to hand on the little tree. They enjoyed this and so did we. The adults did a white elephant game where we passed around our gifts going left and right several times and ended up each with a gift. Confusing and fast-paced for us, but very fun. Lots of good food and the children, of course, all had a great time together! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!! Here are some pixs from the church Christmas program. The girls have never been in a program before and were very nervous about this. They made it through just fine though and all did very well. Afterwards, we managed to get some pixs of the family together. Merry Christmas!
After we just couldn't take any more fun, we had Ryan's girls and the newest member Noel come over for a sleepover. The girls all piled on computers to play with their Webkinz gifts that I got them and got their accounts setup and everything. Pluto and Noel had a great time playing together. As you can see, Noel is a bit larger than Pluto and was not staying in the bed too well. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Ryan and Tricia for letting us take your kids!
Christmas was great this year. We had a blast and how wonderful it was not to haul back up to Rockford presents!!! No packing except to drive back to Mattoon, nice and close for us. We had a terrific 2007 and looking forward to 2008!!
She is 50!! Happy Birthday aunt Lisa!! We all gathered at Chris & Mary's house for the occasion. It was a great time and the kids all had a wonderful time as well. Thank you aunt Lisa for aging for us so we were all able to get together!

Snow, snow, and let there be snow..and some sleet and ice. We had a great time being snowed in. Jim got to figure out how to use a blade to clear the drive, etc. Don't think he had much fun doing that, but now I think has mastered the "technique" at getting that accomplished. The kids had a good time too. We got the 4-wheeler out and hooked the sled onto it and I took them for a few spins around the yard with no accidents I must say....impressive for me who has not been on a 4-wheeler since I dislocated my shoulder on it many, many years ago!
All of our pets then informed us that we had a visitor by accident in our chimney. It drove all of the animals nuts and Tyra was just fit to be tied with this bird that was stuck inside our fireplace. Thanks to Dad, he freed the bird back out to the outdoors. The excitement was killed for the animals. Chloe thought for sure that she was going to get her first bird kill!! Pluto was just as excited as well along with Zena. So this was our few day thrills with all of our snow that we got and very cold weather!!

I was thinking it was going to be Pluto that pulls over the Christmas tree, but this morning, it was Bradyn. I would have loved to have taken a pix with his right arm and leg and his pacie coming out the side of the tree laying on the floor, but I didn't. We got the pix after we picked up the tree from on top of him! That ornament must have been a gem to pull that hard. I then notice Bradyn looking into the bottom of the angel. I am now convinced that it is in the male genes to look up little girls dresses! ha ha!! Pluto thanked him as he downed 2 candy canes by the time I got the tree lifted up and able to chase him. Thanks to Jim being "indisposed in his 'office' at the time," I had to sit there and hold the tree waiting for him so he can spread the legs apart on the bottom of the tree so it could be stood back up. All is fixed now and we are back in business, a little sideways, but now tied to the wall! Merry Christmas!!
