Blogging With the Mac's

Here is our pix from the Jungle Queen.  I forgot to add it and now can't seem to get it moved down to where it goes, but oh well.

On Wednesday, New Year's Eve, we decided that we had better take Bradyn to the doc to get his "cold" checked out as it had been a week and still no sign of letting up despite him feeling pretty good.  We found out that he had pneumonia.  Got the big guns of Augmentin and he has been on the upward hill of heading to normal every since.  After we left the doc's office, we scampered home to grab food and headed down the road to the Jungle Queen boat cruise.  We toured down Millionaire's Row and saw a bunch of beautiful mansions, lots of iguanas and other animals, and then over to the Jungle Queen Island where we got to see alligator wrestling (which is really a guy showing you how to catch an alligator) and then Tyra held a baby alligator.  We had a great time and the guy commentating on the boat was quite a stitch....even the girls caught on to a few of his jokes.  

Later that night for New Year's Eve, our condo had its own DJ/dance party and fireworks on the beach.  Yes....the kids made it through the entire night.  I am sure though that Jimissy's hips and stomach muscles were ready to give-away after all the hula-hooping she did and Tyra's fingers were probably sore from sitting in a lawn chair playing her Nintendo DS along with about 12 other boys/girls in chairs too.  We had a great time!
