GG's Moving Sale

A very busy couple of weeks of preparing, yelling, sweating, starving, and definitely some tired and fried nerve endings for all, but we all lived through GG's moving sale. Here are some pixs of getting for the weekend. The moving sale was on the 17th and 18th of August. Definitely glad it is all over, but very, very sad to see GG leave her house. Lots of tears from all, but yet relieved to know that she is going with my brother's family and will definitely have a good time there.

Jimissy (back) L-R Tayloran, Addisyn, and Avery

Karen engulfed in papers, old mail, religious books, bibles, computer stuff, and much more that we still do not know where it came from!

Is she overwhelmed or just glad to see me?.......I would have to say the latter....to take over for relief efforts.

Papa keeping little Bradyn out of the cook books in the background that there were just so many that he could not keep his little grubby mitts off of them.

The door became quite a fun toy after the books were not a go.

The girls decided to stick their brother in the sale apparently also.

Apparently he found it to be a charming idea.

Nothing like boxing and pricing to have some help at unboxing and unpricing!

Yep. Indeed a little Xanax would have been great for all! Everyone had a good time sifting threw 50 years worth of family memories and reminiscing, but WOW!!!!! I definitely need to clean out my closets and attic NOW!!! Oakland will never be the same for me without my mother and son's family close by. Best of luck in Benton and "thanks for the memories" and to everyone else for helping make the move easier on us.

Ditto mommie!! Couldn't have said it any better. You must have had your head buried since I did not get your pix! Great work you and Karen did. We would not have been able to have the sale without the two of you.
