The long-awaited day had arrived and greeted us with being late from black ice on the roads and, of course, just being McIntyre's, we have been known to be late a time or two. We also had a minor car wreck in front of our house that we checked on. We made it out the door and arrived just in time to take off running down the hall to get Jimissy in the staging area to get thrown right out in the ring to perform!! She did awesome aside of the fact that they put her in the Tiny Tiger group instead of the Pee-Wee group. This led to much confusion on the judging part and to make a long and very confusing story, Jimissy ranked 1st place in her form, but got scored in the wrong group and ended up with two 1st place trophies trying to get a 2 wrongs equals a right kind of a deal. Needless to say, she is sharing her "extra" 1st place trophy!! Tyra also almost missed her staging due to the times being wrong in the brochure! She was supposed to be at 1 o'clock and at noon, we found out they just did a 3rd and final call. We again made a sprint to the staging area and of course, Tyra got called first and had to perform first. She had a clam-up and forgot most of her form, but that is okay. She didn't give up and stayed out there and got some help and finished!!! WE are very proud of her for not giving up and running off the ring. She was such a trooper. She had a draw for the 1 step and 2 step events, but got beat out in the third and final round!! Both girls needless to say came home with 1-1/2 trophies **smile** and are very excited for the next tournament in Decatur in February!! Way to go girls!!
